CfD Forecast Generation and Avoided GHG

This dataset includes the future CfD generation eligible for CfD payments estimated by LCCC until the end of the CfD contract, by financial year (1 April to 31 March). Expected generation beyond the CfD term assumes that plants will continue to generate beyond the end of the CfD contract, based on average plant lifetimes. Avoided greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are calculated based on the National Grid's emissions minus life-cycle CfD emissions for each technology. A constant emissions factor is used per contract according to the start year of each contract.

This dataset is updated on an annual basis.
